Several Precaution can be taken to minimize it's occurrence
PSC does occur during finishing, the finisher may be able to close them by refinishing the surface.
When adverse condition exist, erect wind break to reduce wind velocity over the surface of concrete and if possible provide sunshade to control surface temperature.
Dampen the subgrade, formwork and refinforcement.
Cover the concrete with moisture retaining covering such as wet hessian cloth, plastic sheet etc.
Start curing the concrete as soon as possible.
If the area where there are sign of cracking could be re-toweled with wooden float in clockwise fashion, may close the cracks.
Use systhentic fibers to help resist PSC.
